He was born in 1978 in the village of Qalaychilar, Aghdam district.
In 1994, he graduated from Secondary School No. 238 in the city of Baku.
In 1998, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in the field of higher professional education in Commodity Science of Non-Food Products from the Baku State Institute of Commodity Science and Commerce. In 2000, he earned a Master’s degree in the same specialty from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
From 2000 to 2003, he pursued full-time postgraduate studies at the Scientific Research and Training Center for Labor and Social Issues under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2005, he defended his dissertation entitled “Ergonomic Problems of Labor Organization in the Context of Modern Scientific and Technological Progress” and was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD equivalent) in the specialty 08.00.05 – Economics and Management of the National Economy (Labor Economics) (currently 5308.01 – General Economics).

From 2005 to 2007, he worked as a Leading Research Fellow at the Scientific Research and Training Center for Labor and Social Issues under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
From 2007 to 2010, he served as Head of the “Living Standards and Social Benefits” Department at the same Center.
Since 2010, he has been working as Head of Department at the Institute of Economic Research under the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
From 2007 to 2009, he taught at Baku Business University on a 0.5 staff position.
From 2009 to 2014, he taught on an hourly-paid basis at the Department of International Economic Relations of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
From 2014 to 2018, he worked as a lecturer on a 0.5 staff position at the Department of Labor Economics of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
Since 2018, he has been working part-time as a lecturer at the Department of Economic and Technological Sciences of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and since 2023 he has held the position of Associate Professor at the same department on a 0.5 staff position.
Since 2017, he has been serving, on a voluntary basis, as Scientific Secretary of the FD 1.11 Dissertation Council operating under the Institute of Economic Research of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS

On November 10, 2017, within the framework of the “Science Month” dedicated to World Science Day for Peace and Development at UNEC, he was awarded 3rd place among associate professors in a scientific article competition held among faculty members, doctoral students, young researchers, master’s students, and undergraduate students.
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), he was awarded the “Advanced Education Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan” badge by Order No. F-519 of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated 22 November 2020.
On 19 June 2023, he was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Professor Adalat Muradov, for active participation in the life of the University.
